Parking Infraction Notice
Municipal Law Enforcement Officers are responsible for issuing penalty notices for parking violations within the municipality.
After receiving a Parking Infraction Notice, you have 15 days to do one of the following options:
Lost or Misplaced Notices
If you’ve lost or misplaced your Parking Infraction Notice, please contact the Municipal By-Law Enforcement Department during regular office hours. To help us locate your notice, please have your full name, licence plate number, and phone number ready.
Unpaid Notices
Failure to pay the fine imposed upon conviction will result in your Ontario Vehicle Permit not being renewed and no new permit being issued to you until the fine and all costs and fees have been paid.
Provincial Offence Infraction Notice
A provincial offence is a charge for failing to comply with certain provincial or municipal laws and by-laws. Municipal By-Law Enforcement Officers may issue Infraction Notices under the Provincial Offences Act for applicable municipal by-laws, as authorized under the Act.
The Provincial Offences Office of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell is responsible for managing all fines issued within its jurisdiction by the Ontario Provincial Police, municipalities, and provincial ministries.
