The Building and Construction Department works with residents, builders, contractors, and business owners to support safe, compliant, and high-quality construction throughout The Nation Municipality. Our team is committed to ensuring that all building projects meet the standards set out in the Ontario Building Code and applicable municipal by-laws. 

We help guide construction projects from permit application to final inspection, ensuring that development within our community is safe, sustainable, and contributes positively to the quality of life for those who live, work, and visit The Nation Municipality.
