The Municipality is committed to providing residents with safe, high-quality drinking water. Water quality is monitored regularly.
While all parameters meet the Province of Ontario’s standards, sodium levels in some areas exceed the provincial aesthetic guideline of 20 mg/L.

Private Wells
Well Water Testing
Property owners who rely on a private well are responsible for ensuring the safety of their drinking water. The Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) offers free water testing for private households that draw their drinking water from a well.
