When will your road get paved?
Roads selected for paving are identified through the Municipality’s Asset Management Plan and Roads Condition Assessment. Priority is determined based on three key factors:
- The physical condition of the road
- Average Annual Daily Traffic (AADT)
- Risk assessment, including safety and long-term infrastructure needs
Cost Sharing for Roads
From time to time the Municipality will receive requests to have work done on a road prior to their time in the asset management plan. In these circumstances The Municipality may approve the work to be done pending a cost sharing partnership.
