The Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) requires municipalities to provide access to records in the custody or under the control of the municipality unless an exemption applies.
Fees
In accordance with Section 17 of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA), a non-refundable application fee of $5.00 is required to process your request. This fee must accompany your request form.
Please be advised that additional fees may apply if records are located and prepared for disclosure. These fees may include, but are not limited to, time spent searching for, retrieving, and preparing records, as well as photocopying costs per page and other fees prescribed under MFIPPA regulations.
You will be notified in advance if any additional fees apply. Records will not be released until all applicable fees have been paid.
Submit a Request
Please submit a completed and signed Access to Information Request Form, along with the required application fee payable to The Nation Municipality.
Please note: Requests will not be processed until payment is received.
