Questions, Delegations and Petitions

Questions Related to a Council Meeting

  • Each member of the public can submit one question or comment by noon on the day of the meeting:
    • via the webform; or
    • by emailing the Clerk’s office; or
    • by submitting a written letter to the Clerk’s Office.
  • All questions must be related to an item on the upcoming meeting’s agenda.
  • All questions will be screened to ensure they are respectful and relevant (for example: appropriate language, relevancy to agenda, and respectful in nature). The screening will be done by the Clerk’s Office prior to the meeting. All questions will be kept in accordance with our records management and retention by-law.
  • Questions will be read out loud during the council meeting and answered either by the Council or the administration.
  • If your question is about an item added to a meeting, you can submit your question to be read at the next council meeting.
