The Nation Public Library is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help facilitate Code Club sessions this summer at the Limoges branch.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy technology, creativity, and working with children and youth. High school students looking to complete their 40 hours of community involvement are especially encouraged to apply.
Summary
Volunteers will support library staff during weekly Code Club sessions by assisting participants with coding activities and helping create a fun and welcoming learning environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist participants during coding activities and projects
- Support library staff during Code Club sessions
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and participation
- Help prepare activity materials and workspaces as needed
- Engage with children and youth in a positive and welcoming manner
Schedule
The sessions will take place at 11:00 a.m. every Tuesday in July and August. Each session runs approximately one hour. Scheduling and volunteer participation will be coordinated with library staff based on availability.

Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Some coding experience is considered an asset, but is not required.
- Successful applicants will be required to complete a valid police record check. The library will provide the police record check at no cost.
