The Nation Public Library is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring the TD Summer Reading Club to life this summer across the library branches of St-Isidore, St-Albert, and Limoges.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy books, creativity, and working with children and youth. High school students looking to complete their 40 hours of community involvement are especially encouraged to apply.
Summary
Volunteers will support library staff with summer reading activities and programming for children and youth. Responsibilities may include assisting during events, helping organize activities, and encouraging participation in the TD Summer Reading Club.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist with children’s reading activities and programs
- Help plan and host library programming and events
- Support library staff during activities and special events
- Engage with children and youth in a positive and welcoming manner
- Help prepare materials and activity spaces as needed
Schedule
Scheduling will be determined in collaboration with volunteers and library staff. Flexible availability throughout the summer is considered an asset.

Volunteers may assist at any of the following library branches:
- St-Isidore
- St-Albert
- Limoges
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Successful applicants will be required to complete a valid police record check. The library will provide the police record check at no cost.
