The Clerk’s Office supports the legislative and administrative functions of the Municipality on behalf of Council. The department is responsible for coordinating Council and Committee meetings, maintaining official records, administering municipal elections, and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, including the Municipal Act and other provincial requirements.

Clerk’s Office also oversees by-laws, policies, records management, and access to information, helping ensure transparency, accountability, and effective local governance.
