The Nation Municipality would like to congratulate the following people who were awarded Community Sports Hero medals;

• Mario Adam of St. Albert,
• Brian K. Brammall of Limoges,
• Marc Clermont, past president of the St. Isidore Minor Hockey Association,
• Stéphane Galipeau of St. Isidore,
• Marcel Legault of St. Isidore, and
• Mme Rollande Galipeau of St. Isidore, who received a special award to recognize her many years of volunteer work in the community.

These awards were presented to the recipients by Jean-Marc Lalonde, MPP, on February 25th, 2010, at the St. Isidore Recreation Center. The Community Sports Hero Medals were created to commemorate the outstanding volunteer efforts of many local residents, who work to ensure accessibility to the sport community for all residents and who have made a big difference in the lives of athletes.

A nomination must be signed by the candidate and may be filed in person or by an agent during regular office hours between January 4, 2010 and between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 2010 (Nomination Day).

Electors are hereby given notice that if a greater number of candidates are certified than are required to fill the said offices, voting will take place on MONDAY OCTOBER 25, 2010 (Voting Day).
