Building Permit Application

All building permit applications have to be approved by both the Building and the Planning and Zoning Departments. In order to avoid or reduce as much as possible any negative impact on adjoining properties, the use, dimensions and location of the proposed construction have to conform to the zoning regulation.

Minor Variance and Zoning By-Law Amendment Applications

• Your application conforms to most of the criteria requested by the regulation but not all of them?
  A request for a Minor Variance to the Zoning By-Law can be presented to the Adjustment Committee.
• The use that you are proposing does not conform?  Your application does not conform to most of the criteria requested by the regulation?
  A request for a Zoning By-Law Amendment can be presented to the Municipal Council.
