Municipal Elections Act, 1996 (Section 32)

NOTICE is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the
CORPORATION OF THE NATION MUNICIPALITY

Nominations in The Nation Municipality for the offices of:

MAYOR
COUNCILLOR WARD 1
COUNCILLOR WARD 2
COUNCILLOR WARD 3
COUNCILLOR WARD 4
TRUSTEE FOR THE NATION MUNICIPALITY AND THE VILLAGE OF CASSELMAN CONSEIL SCOLAIRE DE DISTRICT CATHOLIQUE DE L’EST ONTARIEN

may be made by completing and filing in the office of the Clerk, nominations in the prescribed FORM 1 and accompanied by the prescribed nomination filing fee of $100.00 for Council members and $200.00 for Mayor.  The nomination fee is payable by cash, certified cheque or money order.
A nomination must be signed by the candidate and may be filed in person or by an agent during regular office hours between January 4, 2010 and between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 10, 2010 (Nomination Day).
Electors are hereby given notice that if a greater number of candidates are certified than are required to fill the said offices, voting will take place on MONDAY OCTOBER 25, 2010 (Voting Day)
